The new Fire Station No. 8 and Fire Training Facility is located on Airport Road adjacent to the Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport in Temple, Texas. This project was part of the 2008 Fire Bond Improvements initiated to update and improve modern fire fighting facilities for the City of Temple. The project included a new 15,800 square foot Fire & Rescue and Training Facility, adjoining parking lots, access drives, utility extensions, detention pond and drainage channel expansion.
