The New Goode-Connell Park is located between Beeline Lane & Cherokee Road and between Blue Bird Drive & Amy Lane in Harker Heights, Texas. The project encompassed 14 acres and consists of a new parking lot, 0.5 miles of new hike and bike trails, a playground area with a tensile shade structure, a climbing boulder play area, new soccer and baseball practice fields, and multiple pavilions located throughout the new park. This project also had several drainage channels that were reshaped and defined to control the storm water flow through the site and a new drainage reliever pond was constructed to aid in downstream flood control.
